About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Derby City Hospitality will play a crucial role in managing daily hotel operations at the newly opening SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Frankfort, KY. This position focuses on delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring financial profitability while assisting the General Manager in various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading, directing, and managing all hotel operations.
• Manage hotel budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee sales & marketing initiatives.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Comply with all company policies and brand standards.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, and training staff.
• Oversee service quality and operational efficiency.
• Identify gaps in operational and productivity performances.
• Act as General Manager in their absence.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of prior hotel experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent in English.
