About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at RAM Restaurant & Brewery is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through high-quality service and hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining restaurant standards in a fast-paced environment. The AGM will lead the team in achieving operational excellence while fostering a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive the highest level of gracious hospitality.
• Manage daily operations including hiring, training, and service.
• Create memorable dining experiences for guests.
• Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• Demonstrate a working understanding of business operations and financials.
• Manage shifts, including scheduling and planning.
• Coach, lead, and develop the restaurant team.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

• 1 year of leadership or managerial experience in a restaurant setting.
• 2 years of restaurant experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and personal skills.
• Ability to obtain a food handlers permit.
• Stamina to spend extended periods on your feet.

Nice-to-haves

• Food and beer knowledge or the ability to become an expert.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant management.
