About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at The Marquesa Hotel is responsible for overseeing Front Desk operations and Housekeeping, while assisting with day-to-day management duties. This role is crucial for maintaining the hotel's high standards of guest service and team rapport in a small, historic property.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Front Desk operations and ensure high-quality guest service.
  • Manage Housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness and standards.
  • Assist with day-to-day management duties of the hotel.
  • Foster a positive and flexible work environment for team members.
  • Support initiatives towards Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous Front Office Management experience.
  • Experience in hotel operations management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a historic hotel setting.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software.
