Assistant General Manager (AGM)

About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at LA Fitness in Huntingdon Valley is responsible for driving revenue through new member enrollments while retaining existing members. This role involves recruiting, hiring, training, and developing future managers, with a strong emphasis on sales and community engagement. The AGM acts as the 'Mayor' of the club, fostering relationships within the community and achieving daily sales quotas through various marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue through new member enrollments and retention of existing members.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop future managers for the club.
• Perform marketing efforts to attract potential new members.
• Call, text, and email potential members daily to generate interest.
• Market through social media platforms and Google to increase business.
• Distribute guest passes to encourage visits to the club.
• Conduct tours for guests to showcase the facilities.
• Assess individual needs of guests to tailor offerings.
• Sell memberships, personal training, and other club amenities.
• Assist in cleaning the club to maintain a safe environment for staff and members.

Requirements

• 1 year of management experience (preferred)
• 1 year of fitness industry experience (preferred)
• 1 year of sales experience (preferred)
• 1 year of marketing experience (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License (required)
