The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Ewal LLC will play a crucial role in managing the operations of a new wine club in Atlanta, GA. This position requires a strong background in hospitality management, particularly in fine dining, and a genuine interest in wine. The AGM will oversee staff hiring, training, and ensure the smooth operation of the club while maintaining high service standards and managing costs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Able to identify quality talent, hire and onboard staff
• Strong understanding of P&L
• Ability to control costs including, but not limited to, labor, beverage, food, and variable expenses
• Maintain clear communication between front and back of house managers
• Understanding of local laws including labor and liquor
• Bassett/Tips certified
• ServSafe management certified
• Able to schedule hourly staff to meet service standards while controlling costs
• Able to build and maintain guest and member relationships
• Clear understanding of service standards for all meal periods

Requirements

• Management experience in a private club or fine dining outlet is required
• A genuine interest and/or education in wine
• Multi-unit experience is preferred
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Driver's License (Preferred)
