About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations in a dynamic dining and bar environment within the family entertainment industry. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and leading a motivated team, requiring strong leadership skills, culinary knowledge, and a passion for food and beverage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in managing restaurant operations and bar, including food preparation and service.
  • Supervise staff during shifts to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
  • Train and develop team members in culinary skills, food handling practices, and customer service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control.
  • Develop and manage food and beverage budgets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new food and beverage menus.
  • Ensure that menus are appealing, profitable, and consistent with the overall brand.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in food and beverage management.
  • Strong background in food preparation, culinary arts, or related fields.
  • Experience in casual dining settings or banquet services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership qualities including organization and time management.
