About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will work closely with the General Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with operational requirements and enhance service delivery at the airport security site. This role focuses on managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, and implementing strategies to achieve organizational goals while assisting in financial planning and budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the company's operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Support in hiring, training, and supervising staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, supporting health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager in developing long-term strategies for business growth and suggesting operational improvements.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, customer satisfaction, and financial results, providing recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication between departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in management, operations, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements (specific to your industry).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
