About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) for the Cocktail Division at Culinary Creative Group is responsible for assisting in the management of daily restaurant operations, optimizing profits, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role involves staff development, training, and maintaining high service standards in a vibrant, late-night environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant.
• Help optimize profits and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist the General Manager in staff development and management.
• Hire and train restaurant staff or assist the General Manager with this process.
• Provide direction to staff to achieve sales goals set by the General Manager and ownership group.
• Review operations and staff performance on an ongoing basis.
• Assist in employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees.
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering high service levels.
• Monitor labor and other costs to remain within set goals.
• Assist in new menu implementation and staff training.
• Communicate equipment/maintenance issues and practice good preventive maintenance.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and courteously.
• Assist General Manager with inventory and store maintenance.
• Engage in social media efforts to promote the restaurant.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ year of full-service restaurant leadership experience.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and restaurant guidelines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in cocktail bar management (2 years preferred).
