About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Fairfield Inn & Suites North Conway plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of the hotel. This position involves collaborating closely with the General Manager to deliver outstanding guest service and uphold high standards of excellence in hospitality. Responsibilities

  • Manage front office operations, including guest service, room availability, and cost controls
  • Lead and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and help with performance evaluations
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott and Lafrance Hospitality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to maintain a seamless operation

Requirements

  • Prior hotel experience 1-2 years, preferably in a leadership role
  • Front of the house hotel experience
  • Strong knowledge of front desk operations or property management
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Nice-to-haves

  • Marriott, Fosse knowledge is a plus but not a requirement
