About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Spinx is responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring a safe environment, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. This role involves managing food operations, recruiting and training staff, and promoting store profitability while adhering to company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations including food operations and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Recruit, hire, schedule, train, and supervise employees.
  • Promote store profitability and maintain brand standards.
  • Execute marketing programs and control expenses.
  • Manage inventory levels and shortage control.
  • Complete computer-based training for newly hired employees.
  • Complete ServSafe Training and become certified.
  • Direct and coordinate staff to provide excellent customer experience.
  • Maximize store sales and profits within established budgets.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years related food service or retail management experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid in-state Driver's License with required auto insurance and acceptable motor vehicle report.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
