About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn is responsible for the overall success of the hotel, focusing on revenue generation and guest satisfaction. This role involves assisting the General Manager in supervising hotel operations, ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards, and maintaining high-quality service across all departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in supervising all areas of the hotel.
  • Develop and communicate departmental strategies and goals.
  • Educate, train, and motivate hotel team members.
  • Monitor financial and operational plans for the hotel.
  • Manage hotel operations in areas such as front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and brand standards in all hotel areas.
  • Respond to guest complaints or concerns professionally.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through effective communication.
  • Conduct periodic inspections focusing on cleanliness and guest readiness.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluating team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
  • 2 years of previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hotel management or operations.
  • Knowledge of financial and operational planning.
