About the position

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in directing the daily operations of the Andy's Frozen Custard store, ensuring compliance with company standards in areas such as product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability. This role involves actively selecting, training, and coaching staff to achieve key results in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, while embodying the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily operations of the store.
• Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation and delivery.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a customer-first attitude.
• Manage food ordering, deliveries, and inventory adjustments.
• Drive key performance indicators and overall profitability of the store.
• Lead the store in the absence of the General Manager.
• Communicate effectively with the District Manager and corporate office.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new crew members as needed.
• Forecast, schedule, and execute the labor model as designed.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of management experience in the food service industry or a related leadership role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage cash according to cash handling policies.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Open availability to work 30+ hours per week, including late nights and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with POS systems.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
