About the position

Elements Massage® is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee the sales and operations of our Massage Therapy wellness studio. This management position offers a unique opportunity for growth within the wellness industry, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the studio operates smoothly and efficiently. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for implementing structure, policies, and procedures that enhance the customer experience and drive sales performance. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a positive work environment and motivating your team to achieve their goals. In this role, you will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating a strong belief in the therapeutic benefits of massage therapy. You will manage daily operations, ensuring that all aspects of the studio run seamlessly. This includes overseeing staff performance, managing schedules, and ensuring that customer service standards are met. You will also be responsible for identifying and solving problems, setting expectations, and delegating tasks effectively. Your strong verbal and written communication skills will be essential in maintaining clear lines of communication with both your team and clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a strong background in project management. You will need to be flexible with your working hours, as this position may require you to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, experience with MindBody software is a plus, as it will aid in managing studio operations efficiently. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience in management, particularly as a sales manager, operations manager, or general manager.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to organize and lead a team effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to set expectations, goals, and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence and clarity.

  • Flexibility to work varying days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
