About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell plays a crucial role in supporting the restaurant's operations and the General Manager. This position involves managing shifts, overseeing team members, and ensuring that the restaurant meets Taco Bell's standards for safety, service, and cleanliness. The Assistant General Manager is also responsible for administrative duties and providing leadership in the absence of the General Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee team members and Shift Managers to ensure they complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
  • Assist the General Manager with facility maintenance.
  • Assist the General Manager in finding, hiring, and developing excellent Team Members and Shift Managers.
  • Ensure that the restaurant is a safe place for team members to work and customers to visit.
  • Make sure health and safety standards are met.

Requirements

  • Experience in restaurant management is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid Driver's License is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
