About the position

As an Assistant General Manager at Victra, you will lead a retail store team to drive sales, enhance customer experiences, and ensure operational excellence. Your role involves coaching sales specialists, managing store operations, and achieving sales targets while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor and demonstrate effective customer interactions.
  • Coach team members one-on-one to improve performance.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks and lead the team in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Resolve customer issues and assist with transactions.
  • Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly goals with the sales team.
  • Provide training and mentoring to enhance customer experience.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement development plans for the team.
  • Analyze staffing needs and report financial and sales data.
  • Monitor inventory and maintain store cleanliness and security.
  • Ensure compliance with merchandising and planogram standards.
  • Complete store opening and closing activities.
  • Collectively work towards attaining store targets.

Requirements

  • Background in customer service within retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
  • Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a multifaceted environment.
  • Experience in setting goals, evaluating performance, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak periods.
  • At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
