About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the daily operations of a Hardee's restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards and promoting a customer-focused culture. The AGM plays a crucial role in training and developing staff, managing operational procedures, and driving sales and profitability while embodying the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the GM in directing daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability.
  • Select, train, and coach employees to achieve key results in People, Customer, Sales, and Profit.
  • Execute the Performance Management process to set employees up for success.
  • Monitor and provide training on all job duties across shifts.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues and training staff.
  • Assist in creating schedules and completing inventory orders.
  • Ensure food safety standards are met during shifts.
  • Analyze sales, labor, and inventory to meet margin and sales growth targets.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and vendors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in restaurant operations or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
