About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell supports the Restaurant General Manager in ensuring smooth operations during shifts while adhering to Taco Bell's standards. This role involves problem-solving, guiding team members, managing inventory, and ensuring financial accountability. The position emphasizes creating a safe and friendly environment for both employees and customers, while also providing opportunities for career growth and leadership development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in running effective work shifts.
  • Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties.
  • Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
  • Serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
  • Ensure the restaurant is a safe environment for employees and customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; College or University Degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience in food service or retail, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.
  • Strong preference for internal promotion from Shift Manager position.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must pass background check criteria and drug test.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, strong analytical/decision-making skills.
