The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell is responsible for supporting the restaurant and General Manager by managing shifts and assisting with administrative duties. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the restaurant operates to brand standards, especially in the absence of the General Manager. Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and Shift Managers to ensure they complete all assigned duties and serve safe, high-quality food in a timely manner.
• Ensure the restaurant is a safe place for team members and customers.
• Ensure all team member training and certifications are completed as planned.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
• Assist in the development of Shift Managers and future leaders.
• Support the General Manager with restaurant maintenance and operations.
• Assist in finding, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
• Help maintain consistent strong financial results.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Two years of restaurant experience required with proven leadership experience on all shifts.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check including MVR.
• Must be able to pass the SERV Safe Certification Course and Exam.
