About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell plays a crucial role in supporting the restaurant's operations and the General Manager. This position involves managing shifts, overseeing team members, and ensuring that the restaurant adheres to brand standards. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the absence of the General Manager and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in managing restaurant operations and administrative duties.
• Oversee team members and Shift Managers to ensure completion of assigned duties and high-quality service.
• Ensure the restaurant is a safe environment for both team members and customers.
• Ensure all team member training and certifications are completed as planned.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and local regulations.
• Assist in the development of Shift Managers and future leaders.
• Help the General Manager with restaurant maintenance and operations.
• Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Support the General Manager in maintaining strong financial results.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Two years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check including MVR.
• Must be able to pass the SERV Safe Certification Course and Exam.
