About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Five Guys Burgers and Fries is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. This role involves managing a team, financial and inventory management, and fostering a positive work environment. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with both crew members and management to maintain operational efficiency and uphold the brand's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Financial and inventory management
• Oversee a management team of 3-5 along with a crew of 25-30
• Customer relationship management
• Full accountability for how the operation runs
• Work both opening and closing shifts each week

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• 2-3 years previous leadership experience in some capacity
• 2-3 years experience in the food service business
• ServSafe Certification a plus
• Strong references from people who have worked for you and who you've worked for

Nice-to-haves

• Some post high school education a plus
