As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a motivated team, solving problems, and enhancing the overall customer experience. You will be responsible for managing labor costs, ensuring the restaurant is prepared for busy periods, and fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Manage labor costs by utilizing restaurant flowcharts and labor reports.
- Ensure the restaurant is ready for rush periods to execute speed.
- Utilize the playbook to focus on friendliness, accuracy, and speed during shifts.
- Conduct shift huddles to set goals with the team for each shift.
- Monitor and post customer satisfaction results and review them with the team.
- Assist the General Manager in responding to customer complaints and resolving them with the team.
- Conduct dining room visits to gather feedback on customer experience.
- Train and empower team members to resolve customer complaints independently.
- Assist GM and Trainers in creating weekly schedules.
- Impact restaurant cleanliness through proper scheduling for cleaning tasks.
- Create a positive team culture and enhance the crew experience.
- Assist with onboarding new crew members.
Requirements
- 1 year of restaurant management experience at the Assistant General Manager level.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work 48-50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Self-motivated and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
