About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with company standards, maintaining high-quality service, and fostering a positive team environment. The Assistant General Manager will lead the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences while managing various operational aspects, including financial accountability, team management, and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining fast, accurate service and positive guest relations.
• Ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards.
• Meeting Occupational Safety & Health Act and local health and safety codes.
• Assisting in Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures and maintaining inventory.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members alongside the Restaurant Manager.
• Conducting performance appraisals and taking disciplinary action as necessary.
• Motivating and training team members to achieve high performance.
• Ensuring company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained through a preventative maintenance program.
• Ensuring food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Executing corporate and local marketing plans in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
