About the position

As an Assistant General Manager at Victra, the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the U.S., you will lead a sales team to create exceptional customer experiences in a retail environment. Your role involves developing sales specialists, driving sales targets, managing store operations, and ensuring compliance with merchandising standards. You will also be responsible for coaching team members, resolving customer issues, and maintaining store functionality in the absence of the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Coach team members one-on-one to improve performance and sales skills.
• Manage daily operational tasks and assist with customer transactions.
• Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the sales team.
• Analyze staffing needs and report financial and sales data.
• Monitor inventory and maintain store cleanliness and device security.
• Ensure compliance with store merchandising and planogram standards.
• Complete store opening and closing activities.
• Collaborate with the team to meet store targets.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in setting goals and developing a high-performing team.
• Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
