About the position

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all restaurant activities, ensuring that operations align with the business plan and that team members meet their job expectations. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction, training and development of staff, and effective business management to achieve financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all restaurant management and team members perform their job responsibilities and meet expectations.
• Model and create an environment focused on guest satisfaction, responding positively to guest concerns.
• Maintain restaurant standards for providing Fast, Fun, & Friendly service.
• Train new employees and prepare them for promotion, ensuring adequate staffing of Shift Leaders.
• Provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve employee performance.
• Assist the General Manager in hiring high-quality staff and ensuring consistent guest satisfaction.
• Work with the General Manager to develop and execute the restaurant's business plan.
• Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain safety and security of employees and guests.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating effectively with management, guests, and co-workers.
• Must be certified on all stations using the Blaze Training Program.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance required.
• Accessible 24/7 for communication with the restaurant and management.
• Ability to work a standard 50-hour work week and flexible hours as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
