About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) position at our North End Boston location is a leadership role focused on enhancing the guest experience and managing nightly service operations. The AGM will work closely with the owners and chef, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and fostering strong relationships with both staff and guests. This role requires a passion for food and beverage, along with a commitment to continuous learning and education in the hospitality field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage nightly service operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with staff and guests.
  • Work directly with the owners and chef to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee guest interactions and ensure a high-quality dining experience.
  • Utilize Toast POS and OpenTable for service management.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Toast POS and OpenTable.
  • Basic knowledge of classic cocktails and bar techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in upscale casual or fine dining environments.
