About the position

The Assistant General Manager will oversee the daily operations of a Wendy's restaurant, focusing on staffing, training, and scheduling to build and retain a high-performing team. This role supports the General Manager in creating a positive work environment and ensuring excellent customer service. The Assistant General Manager will also be responsible for coaching team members and driving sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and staff of the restaurant.
• Focus on staffing, training, and scheduling to build a 5-star team.
• Support the General Manager in coaching and development of the team.
• Create and maintain a fun and inviting work environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and standards.
• Drive sales and profit goals for the restaurant.
• Teach new hires and crew members how to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience leading people, preferably in a foodservice environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards.
• Flexible work availability.
