The Taco Bell Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager by ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly during shifts. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the completion of assigned duties by Team Members and Shift Managers, managing inventory, and ensuring financial accountability. Additionally, the role involves serving safe, quality food in a friendly manner and maintaining a safe environment for both employees and customers. Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running effective work shifts.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties.
• Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
• Serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
• Ensure the restaurant is a safe place for employees and customers.
• Assist in training and guiding team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; College or University Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Strong preference for internal promotion from Shift Manager position.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass background check criteria and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
