About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Hardee's plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This position is focused on ensuring compliance with company standards across various operational areas, including product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability. The AGM is responsible for training and coaching staff to achieve key performance results while embodying the brand's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Support the GM in directing daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability.
  • Assist in selecting, training, and coaching employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor and provide training on all job duties for each position in the restaurant.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues and training staff.
  • Assist in creating schedules and completing inventory orders when the GM is absent.
  • Ensure food safety standards are met during shifts.
  • Analyze sales, labor, and inventory to meet margin and sales growth targets.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and vendors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in restaurant operations or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
