About the position

The Taco Bell Assistant General Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager by overseeing work shifts and ensuring compliance with Taco Bell standards. This role involves problem-solving, guiding team members, and maintaining a safe and efficient restaurant environment. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for inventory management, financial accountability, and delivering quality food service in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running effective work shifts.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties.
• Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
• Serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
• Ensure the restaurant is a safe environment for employees and customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; College or University Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Strong preference for internal promotion from Shift Manager position.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, along with strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Ability to tolerate walking and lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for 80% of shift time.
