About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Wingstop is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant and directing operations in the General Manager's absence. This role emphasizes the importance of conveying the Wingstop culture, ensuring a positive guest experience, and maintaining operational standards. The Assistant General Manager must be a team player who is dedicated to the success of the brand and passionate about providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in staffing the restaurant efficiently.
  • Ensure a safe environment for team members and guests.
  • Create a positive culture through respect, recognition, and reward.
  • Greet guests promptly and ensure a positive experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Control cash, property, product, and equipment effectively.
  • Maintain operational standards and communicate maintenance issues.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members for high performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
