The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell plays a crucial role in supporting the restaurant's operations and the General Manager. This position involves managing shifts, overseeing team members, and ensuring that the restaurant adheres to brand standards. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, training staff, and assisting in administrative duties, all while embodying the company's core values of respect, integrity, passion, accountability, commitment, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and Shift Managers to ensure they complete all assigned duties and serve safe, high-quality food in a timely manner.
• Ensure the restaurant is a safe place for team members and customers.
• Ensure all team member training and certifications are completed to plan.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and local regulations.
• Assist in the development of Shift Managers and Future Leaders.
• Assist the General Manager with restaurant maintenance and operations.
• Help with finding, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
• Support the General Manager in maintaining strong financial results.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Two years of restaurant experience required with proven leadership experience on all shifts.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check including MVR.
• Must be able to pass the SERV Safe Certification Course and Exam.
