About the position

As a Manager at Panera, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the bakery-cafe by leading a team that delivers exceptional customer experiences. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including team development, performance management, and fostering a warm and inclusive culture. You will be instrumental in driving sales, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a positive environment for both customers and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Build a culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust.
  • Ensure extraordinary guest experiences by delighting customers with quality food and service.
  • Coach and motivate the team to exceed sales and service goals.
  • Train the team on food safety standards and ensure compliance.
  • Hire, onboard, and provide ongoing training and development for associates.
  • Recognize and celebrate individual and team achievements.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to run great shifts.
  • Restaurant management experience.
  • ServSafe certification (or able to pass).
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must submit to a background check.
