About the position

As an Assistant General Manager at Victra, you will lead a retail store team to drive sales and create exceptional customer experiences. Your role involves coaching sales specialists, managing store operations, and ensuring that the team meets sales targets while maintaining a positive and engaging work environment. Responsibilities

  • Encourage and lead a sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Create outstanding customer experiences in the retail store.
  • Coach team members one-on-one to improve performance.
  • Handle daily operational tasks and lead the team in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Resolve customer issues and assist with transactions.
  • Set and share daily, weekly, and monthly goals with the sales team.
  • Provide training and mentoring to enhance customer service skills.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement development plans for team members.
  • Analyze staffing needs and report financial and sales data.
  • Monitor inventory and maintain store cleanliness and security.
  • Ensure compliance with merchandising and planogram standards.
  • Complete store opening and closing activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or leadership role.
  • Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in customer service within retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
