About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Sky Zone is a developmental role aimed at preparing individuals for future General Manager positions. The AGM is responsible for mastering park operations, fostering a positive culture, ensuring safety, enhancing guest experiences, and driving revenue under the guidance of the General Manager (GM).

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, operating with ethics and integrity alongside the General Manager.
• Assume the role of Leader on Duty, overseeing Supervisors, Team Leads, and Team Members.
• Become an expert in park operations, safety, guest experience, and people management.
• Support the GM in selecting talent through interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Train and develop Team Members in sales, party experiences, and safety compliance.
• Manage Team Member performance through accountability and recognition.
• Coordinate scheduling of the team according to park needs.
• Create a positive park culture by recognizing team successes.
• Provide memorable customer experiences and manage guest feedback.
• Drive sales results and motivate the sales team.
• Manage the membership experience and organize Member events.
• Share ideas to increase park profit and educate the team on KPIs.
• Assist the GM with party sales and event coordination.
• Ensure communication with facilities and maintenance teams.
• Assist with inventory management and safety processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service field such as recreation, fitness, retail, restaurant, or hospitality.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems.
• Reliable, coachable, self-motivated, and organized.
