About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Hardee's plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager (GM) in overseeing daily restaurant operations. This position is focused on ensuring compliance with company standards, enhancing customer service, and driving financial accountability while embodying CKE's Core Values. The AGM is responsible for training and coaching staff, managing employee relations, and maintaining operational excellence across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in directing daily operations of the restaurant.
• Assist in selecting, training, and coaching employees to achieve key results in People, Customer, Sales, and Profit.
• Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer service, and facilities maintenance.
• Monitor and provide training on all job duties for each position in the restaurant.
• Drive a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues and training employees to meet service standards.
• Assist in creating schedules and completing inventory orders when the GM is absent.
• Ensure food safety standards are met during shifts.
• Analyze sales, labor, and inventory to achieve margin and sales growth targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in restaurant operations or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
