About the position

The position involves assisting the General Manager in managing the operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant. The role focuses on executing company policies, achieving store objectives, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and ethical business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in managing restaurant operations and staff.
  • Execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
  • Participate in achieving store objectives while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the company's operating systems and procedures.
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures related to job responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with supervisory practices and crew orientation and training programs.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Education: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations and interpret data.

  • Completion of Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire.
