About the position

The ideal candidate will be a change agent capable of making immediate improvements to key metrics upon joining the company. This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year and is a permanent role. The work hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, and the position requires a bachelor's degree. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and complying with OSHA regulations. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at meeting production targets, which includes conducting daily productivity analyses. Additionally, you will manage the complete profit and loss (P&L) of the service center or assigned distribution center, regularly analyzing cost performance against budget and spearheading improvement projects. You will support the Director of Operations in developing budgets and forecasts as needed, and you will be responsible for developing and executing capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects within approved budgets and timelines. Ensuring compliance with internal and external safety regulations, employee engagement initiatives, food safety standards, and local and federal HR policies will also be part of your responsibilities. You will oversee all functions within the facility, including Safety, HR/Payroll, Quality, Production, Financials, and other necessary operations, while managing daily shipping, receiving, and associated data entry tasks. Ensuring product quality and adherence to food safety policies established by the organization is crucial to this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • 5 years of experience in production control.
  • 5 years of experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
  • 3 years of experience with automation.
