About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Cicis Pizza is responsible for overseeing the shift operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation. This role focuses on product preparation, customer relations, and delivering high-quality products and services to guests. The Assistant Manager will also supervise the restaurant team, manage inventory, and contribute to sales and profit goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift operations of the restaurant ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Demonstrate exemplary operations skills in all aspects of the restaurant.
• Respond professionally and promptly to guest concerns or issues.
• Solicit guest feedback and use it to improve operations and build brand loyalty.
• Communicate, train, and promote quality standards to team members.
• Supervise the restaurant team and maintain adequate staffing levels according to projected sales.
• Train team members to exceed guest expectations and ensure compliance with uniform standards.
• Build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun among the team.
• Contribute to sales goals by providing prompt and friendly guest service.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and loss.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, safe, and organized, complying with safety standards.

Requirements

• Bilingual in certain markets
• Mid-level restaurant experience
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work an average of 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lead a team during a shift with no supervision
