About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Hardee's plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager (GM) in overseeing daily restaurant operations. This position is focused on ensuring compliance with company standards in various operational areas, including product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability. The AGM is responsible for training and coaching staff to achieve key performance results while embodying the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Support the GM in directing daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Assist in selecting, training, and coaching employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation and customer service.
  • Monitor and provide training on job duties for all positions in the restaurant.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues and training staff.
  • Assist in creating employee schedules and managing inventory orders.
  • Ensure food safety standards are met during shifts.
  • Analyze sales, labor, and inventory to achieve margin and sales growth targets.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and vendors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in restaurant operations or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
