The Assistant General Manager at Cinépolis USA plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of luxury service standards within the theater environment. This position involves managing Front-of-House operations, overseeing guest services, and ensuring a high-quality experience for both guests and employees. The Assistant General Manager acts as a brand ambassador, reinforcing company values and mission while supporting the General Manager in various operational and financial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in hiring and training staff.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of multiple hourly staff members.
• Conduct coaching and development sessions to maximize employee retention.
• Enforce company values and policies among employees.
• Prepare weekly schedules and ensure all shifts are covered.
• Assist with the implementation of company initiatives and projects.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate sales goals and promotions.
• Manage the In-Seat Dining process and guest experience.
• Partner with the Regional Projectionist on film ingestion and system issues.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and guests.
• Proactively manage guest experiences and resolve complaints.
• Assist in maximizing sales and revenue through effective management techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Management, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience in high volume entertainment and/or restaurant settings.
• Strong emphasis on Food and Beverage experience.
• Full-service background with knowledge of inventory and operations.
• Valid ServSafe, Food Handlers, and Alcohol certification required.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends.
