As an Assistant Graphic Designer for Licensed Apparel, you will play a crucial role in our mission to blend comfort with style in the fashion industry. You will have the exciting opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in entertainment and pop culture, including Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Peanuts, among others. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about graphics, illustration, and design, and who has a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining patterns for various apparel items, ensuring that they meet both design and licensing specifications. You will assist in creating packaging designs that are not only functional but also visually appealing. Your creativity will be put to the test as you participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas for new designs and collections. Staying updated with the latest trends in fashion and graphic design will be essential to ensure our products remain competitive in the market. You will prepare and present design concepts to the team, making revisions as necessary, and work closely with the production team to ensure that your designs are accurately translated into finished products. This position requires a proactive approach, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine patterns for various apparel items, ensuring they meet design and license specifications and standards.
• Assist in the creation of packaging designs for our products, ensuring they are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new designs and collections.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in fashion and graphic design to ensure our products remain current and competitive.
• Prepare and present design concepts to the team and make revisions as needed.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the fashion or clothing industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of patterns and placement graphics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with packaging design is a plus.
• Knowledge of licensing processes and requirements is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the loungewear and intimates sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends is beneficial.
