Lifesteps is hiring Part-Time Child Care Assistants to aide in classrooms in the Butler early education center. Position Summary: Lifesteps is immediately hiring two part-time Teacher Aides / Child Care Assistants to work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, in the daycare and preschool center. Job duties include the care and supervision of children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, assisting with lesson planning, creating activities, supervising playtime, provide a nurturing environment, and update parents about the child's day. Part-time hours available with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities
- Care and supervision of children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two years of experience working with children (can be paid or unpaid work such as Summer Camps, Church Nursery, Babysitting, Bible School, Volunteering with children, etc.)
- Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds without assistance
- Ability to provide acceptable state clearances
- Able to multi-task and work in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field
