About The Position
Lifesteps is hiring Part-Time Child Care Assistants to aide in classrooms in the Butler early education center. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by "helping individuals and families with life's changing needs". The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. Position Summary: Lifesteps is immediately hiring two part-time Teacher Aides / Child Care Assistants to work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, in the daycare and preschool center. Job duties include the care and supervision of children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, assisting with lesson planning, creating activities, supervising playtime, provide a nurturing environment, and update parents about the child's day. Part-time hours available with flexible scheduling.
