About the position

The Assistant Growth Marketing Project Manager at Deviate Labs is a full-time, remote position aimed at supporting Project Managers in various marketing initiatives. The role focuses on effective communication, project organization, and data analysis to ensure successful client interactions and project execution. The position is designed to promote the individual to Project Manager within approximately 12 months, with comprehensive training provided during this period.

Responsibilities

  • Help ensure that all inbound communication from clients are addressed and translated into specific action items
  • Take diligent notes on client calls and internal team calls
  • Help prepare client agendas while staying abreast of project direction and progress on a high-level
  • Facilitate and participate in dynamic client conversations aimed at updating progress, gaining support for ongoing efforts, presenting new ideas, offering ad hoc marketing recommendations, and uncovering new opportunities
  • Help stay organized and track progress all action items on a project-by-project basis
  • Navigate different data collection tools such as Google Analytics 4 and ad platforms to monitor key performance metrics and coordinate with the programmatic advertising team to ensure performance is on pace to meet client goals
  • Help accountability for key client metrics and generate client-facing reports
  • Help support design and development projects which involves communicating with the client, understanding what they are looking for, translating that for and collaborating and coordinating with our internal team
  • Uphold Deviate Labs high-touch and high-quality client service

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred: marketing, journalism, English, literature, philosophy, engineering, or communications)
  • 1+ years of professional digital marketing experience
  • 1+ years of knowledge of testing, measurement and analysis of data to assess ROI and evolve marketing strategy
  • 1+ years of experience with marketing technology such as email tools, CRMs, marketing automation, advertising platforms, analytics, etc.
  • 1+ years of managing projects and interfacing directly with clients

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters degree in marketing
  • Copywriting (persuasive writing with the intent to sell)
  • Creative eye (able to provide design critiques)
  • Marketing project management experience
  • PPC experience
  • Marketing agency experience
