About the position

The Assistant Hospital Services Administrator (AHSA) plays a crucial role in managing the overall operations for nursing services and care within the Hospital Services Group. This position involves overseeing the administration and coordination of services to licensed Acute and Sub-Acute Care Programs, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality patient care. The AHSA will support the Hospital Services Administrator in partnerships with hospitals and other sub-acute facilities to provide dialysis treatment, focusing on building proficiency in managing hospital programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 30-40 direct reports including RNs, PCTs, admin assistants, and drivers.
• Manage the operations of multiple hospital contracts within a region, including P&L and budgets.
• Ensure programs meet performance goals and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Support the Hospital Services Administrator in partnerships with hospitals and sub-acute facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a dialysis facility preferred.
• Current CPR certification required (or certification obtained within 60 days of hire).
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required; functional proficiency in all DaVita clinical and business applications required within 90 days.
