About the position

The Assistant Hospitality Manager at LAZ Parking is responsible for overseeing operations at assigned locations, ensuring professional parking management under the guidance of the Facilities Manager. This role emphasizes employee development, operational excellence, and client relationship management, all while fostering a people-first culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management and development of the location(s) team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives.
  • Complete daily tasks at assigned location in the absence of frontline employees or regularly fill a shift.
  • Identify high potential employees to support the organization's growth.
  • Support Facilities Manager with payroll entries, scheduling shifts, and training.
  • Assist with the opening of newly assigned locations.
  • Manage financial aspects of assigned location, ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements.
  • Develop client relationships and ensure business retention.
  • Prepare operations for potential new locations related to facility services.
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service levels.
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct activities of Team Leaders and frontline staff.
  • Implement and complete projects, programs, and initiatives arising from assigned location operations.
  • Communicate with local police and emergency management regarding claims and daily operations.
  • Monitor and analyze market rate structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience desired.
  • 1+ years in Management or Supervisory role.
  • Experience leading a group of 10-20 individuals.
  • Previous experience in high-stress situations with tight deadlines and high customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Supervisory experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.
  • Strong customer service skills and abilities.
  • Ability to facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers.
  • Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
