About the position

The Assistant Hospitality Manager at Tree House Brewing Company plays a crucial role in leading personnel and operations at the Tewksbury facility. This position encompasses managing a diverse range of services including retail, beer-to-go, a golf course, cocktail programs, private events, and a pizza program. The ideal candidate will embody a strong work ethic, a customer-focused attitude, and a commitment to excellence in guest service, while also being responsible for the management and development of a large team.

Responsibilities

  • Management and daily operational oversight of the taproom/clubhouse, beer-to-go outpost, and general facilities.
  • Overseeing elements of the golf course operations and pizza operations.
  • Ensuring the online store displays accurate inventory and new releases.
  • Striving for uncompromising guest service for every guest.
  • Motivating and inspiring the team to deliver high standards of care to the guest experience.
  • Management and daily oversight of a 45-50 person team, including hiring, onboarding, and training staff.
  • Promoting professional development and coordinating training with HR.
  • Evaluating and improving training systems for superior product knowledge and salesmanship.
  • Ensuring safety for the facility, team members, and guests.
  • Identifying areas for operational improvement and communicating ideas to leadership.
  • Organizing and ensuring all pricing, signage, and product displays are correct.
  • Facilitating inventory and money management for golf course and pizza operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, hospitality management, business administration, or a relevant field (preferred).
  • Strong business acumen including policy adherence, product knowledge, and operational know-how.
  • Uncompromising desire for quality in product and guest experience.
  • Operational excellence with a focus on business outcomes and positive change.
  • Critical thinking skills to evaluate pressing issues and execute solutions.
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple action items simultaneously.
  • Adaptability to navigate change and challenges.
