About the position

The Assistant Hospitality Manager at LAZ Parking plays a crucial role in supporting the Hospitality Manager to ensure the financial, operational, safety, and service-related success of hotel partnerships. This position involves managing staff, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue while maintaining safety standards. The role emphasizes the importance of team development, client relationships, and adherence to operational protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Hospitality Manager in overseeing financial, operational, safety, and service success at the hotel.
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of Shift Leads and frontline staff.
  • Maximize revenue, control expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high safety and service standards.
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings and ensure LAZ internal meetings are held each shift.
  • Assist in the management and development of the hotel team to achieve goals and embody LAZ Parking's culture.
  • Identify high-potential employees for growth opportunities within the organization.
  • Participate in the recruiting and onboarding process for new employees.
  • Implement safety initiatives and report safety concerns to the Hospitality Manager.
  • Drive service results by monitoring LAZ Service Shopper Reports and hotel service metrics.
  • Cultivate client relationships and ensure business retention.
  • Implement projects and initiatives as assigned by the hotel.
  • Ensure compliance with audit protocols and financial success of the location.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations.
  • Enter LHIST data accurately and daily.
  • Monitor and analyze market rate structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience desired.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry (Parking, Restaurants, Hotels, etc.) is preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with high customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office applications.
