About the position

The Assistant HR Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the HR Director in managing the HR department's operations. This position acts as the primary HR business partner and subject matter expert, ensuring the workforce's performance, productivity, and profitability. The role is designed for a full-time, onsite work schedule, contributing to a national healthcare provider's success.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Director in managing day-to-day HR operations.
• Act as the HR Director during their absence.
• Partner with all levels of the organization to provide HR expertise and guidance.
• Implement HR practices and initiatives to enhance workforce performance and productivity.
• Lead and participate in HRIS implementation projects.
• Develop and execute HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention efforts.
• Conduct training and development programs for employees.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience, preferably in an HRDOO environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification, or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Valid driver's license to allow travel to local locations on short notice.
