Buckle is seeking experienced and talented individuals who desire to take their skills to the next level. As an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager, you will work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates, and provide leadership. This role includes shared responsibilities with the Store Manager, and you will act as the Store Manager in their absence. The position is designed to prepare you for higher-level duties and responsibilities, focusing on sales generation, guest service, teammate recruiting, training, and visual merchandise management. In the area of sales generation and guest service, you will greet guests with a friendly attitude, provide legendary service, and assist them in locating merchandise based on their needs. You will be expected to maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, achieve personal sales goals, and build good guest relationships to develop a client-based business. Additionally, you will lead by example, demonstrating high standards of customer service and showmanship. As part of your responsibilities, you will also focus on teammate recruiting, training, and development. This includes recognizing recruiting opportunities, coaching new teammates, and maintaining a positive floor culture. You will assist in leading and motivating your team to meet Buckle's standards and execute actions that support business goals. Visual merchandise management is another key aspect of this role. You will own and influence product through zone ownership, ensuring that visual standards are met and that the sales floor is organized and shoppable. You will also be responsible for executing and teaching all Point of Sale (POS) procedures and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. In terms of operations, you will work a flexible schedule, understand and utilize planners, and follow all loss prevention guidelines. You will also be involved in planning and executing various tasks, including markdowns and inventory management. Supervisory responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager in supervising the team and promoting personal and store growth.
