About the position

Early Bird ChildCare Centers is celebrating its 49th year of providing care and education to young children. We are seeking high-energy individuals who are passionate about playing and educating our youngest students. The Assistant Infant Teacher will be responsible for assisting with the care of infants, creating a fun and safe learning environment through play, activities, and child-centered conversation. This role requires following childcare schedules and routines that ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime. Establishing positive relationships with our Early Bird families through daily health checks is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will maintain the health and safety of all students at all times. This position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, and is located at 243 West Main Street, Springville, NY 14141. The pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, a $500 signing bonus will be awarded after the first month of employment. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for teaching young children, a positive and patient demeanor, and a high-energy personality that can last throughout the workday. Eagerness to learn new skills and expand knowledge in the field of early childhood education is essential. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not necessary.
